Easy Money
Rules
A slow game for easy money, but you’d better think about it.

Quick Facts:
2 - 4 Players
A few minutes per round
Easy Difficulty

Objective: Be first to get rid of all your cards to take the biggest stack!
Deal each player 5 cards. In the center of the table turn up one card for each player. So, if you are playing with 3 players, turn 3 cards up on the table. The cards turned up on the table do not belong to any player, they are the start of the stacks everyone will be vying for. The rest of the deck is set aside.

1. Dealing
2. How to Play
In turn, each player places a card on top of any of the stacks as long as it is one bill higher or one bill lower than the stack’s top card. For example, if a stack is a $10, a player can place a $20 or a $5 on top of it. If they are unable to place a card down, they call, “Pass,” and the move goes to the next player clockwise. [Note: If all players “Pass” around the table, take the original deck and place new cards on the top of each stack and continue playing]

The first player to use up all their cards ends the round. This player gets to select any of the stacks on the table. The player is NOT allowed to count nor splay out any of the stacks before choosing a stack. Moving clockwise from the person who ended the round, each player chooses a stack (also without counting or splaying any cards).

3. Scoring
Everyone counts up their cash to see who won the round. It is highly recommended that you tally your scores either to a predetermined goal or agree that “everyone deals once” because going first in this game is a big advantage.

4. Hints/Strategies
-
Choose wisely which stack you want to place a card on knowing the future cards in your hand that you will play as well as your position in the game.
-
If you are going first, you typically want to have stacks unbalanced because you are more likely to be able to choose the biggest stack first.
-
Conversely, if you are going last, you will want to try and balance the stacks when you can, for you will probably get stuck with the last choice.
